Description

Clinical nutrition and diet therapy is the study of science of nutrients that analyses a person consumption of food with respect to nutrients and how the nutrients are digested, absorbed, transported, metabolized, stored, utilized and the resulting by-products excreted as waste by the body. It will expose students to nutrition and the pathological processes that occur in the body. The pathological processes will involve the study of concepts in basic immunology, tissue injury, inflammation, some circulatory disturbances, renal, growth and neoplasm disorders.
